So I Must Admit…

Let’s be honest- I haven’t posted on here in ages. And it makes me very unhappy with myself. You see, I love working on this site. But more often than not, I find myself distracted by work, school, friends, traveling, whatever it may be. And I use that as an excuse to not post, instead of as inspiration for my writing.

But it’s about time I change that.

The reality of life after college has really been hitting me hard lately, even though I still have two years left. The thought of my pending graduation has made me realize how much I want to accomplish in my life, though sometimes I think “I need to be doing more.” So that’s what I am going to do. I am going to begin doing more.

I don’t want to sit around and watch my life and everything I want for it pass me by.

While I want to live in the moment, and soak up the little things, I also want to use them to make all my tomorrows just as wonderful. And I can do that, if I just begin to use my todays as inspiration.

So beginning now, I am making a promise to myself.

To live life to the fullest, each and every day, and to use that day as a driving force to create what I want for my tomorrow.
